FivePoint’s joint venture (Heritage Fields El Toro, LLC) was honored by one of the nation’s largest building industry trade organizations for its forward-thinking vision at Novel Park, a new community within FivePoint’s Great Park Neighborhoods in Irvine.
Novel Park received a 2020 SoCal Honors award in the Best Outdoor Living Space category during a virtual ceremony on November 19, 2020. Powered by the Greater Sales & Marketing Council, SoCal Honors recognized members of the Building Industry Association of Southern California, a 1,300-member organization representing home builders, developers, contractors, suppliers and skilled labor.
The award acknowledged Novel Park’s walkable and bikeable connectivity between its seven home collections and neighborhood parks, trails, top-rated schools, dog parks, onsite community center and coffeehouse, and other amenities. All elements promote a unique sense of community and indoor/outdoor connectivity.
Novel Park is also directly accessible to entertainment, sports, recreation at the adjacent Orange County Great Park.
The SoCal Honors award is the latest recognition for excellence in design, architecture and planning within Great Park Neighborhoods, which has received more than 100 honors since the community’s first neighborhood, Pavilion, opened in 2013.
