The FivePoint Amphitheater

FivePoint is planning a 12,000-seat interim music amphitheater, continuing the tradition of live outdoor concerts in Irvine. Located within walking distance of the Irvine Transportation Center, a major mass transit hub for Metrolink passengers, the amphitheater is planned to offer concession and hospitality services, as well as parking for 4,000 vehicles. The outdoor venue is expected to open in late Summer of 2017.

An iconic Orange County feature, the Orange Balloon is one of the largest tethered helium balloons in the United States and soars approximately 400 feet above the Orange County Great Park. This popular attraction holds up to 30 passengers in an 1,800 pound gondola and offers an incredible 360-degree view of the surrounding countryside.

New LEED Gold Artists Building

The San Francisco Shipyard™ has become one of the nation’s largest artist colonies, primarily because of the Artist Studios, a low-cost space established for a diverse mix of craftspersons and artists in 1976.

FivePoint is building 255,000 square feet of new and enhanced studio space to replace the aging structures. The new LEED Gold Artist Building will include 130 affordable studios, a 1,600 square foot gallery, a state of the art kiln room, and a spray room.

Film & Arts Center

Candlestick is envisioned to become a major draw for art and culture patrons with a planned film and arts center (FAC), anchoring a retail center. The film and arts center is planned to include an 8-10 screen cinema complex along with a 75,000 square foot performance venue. In addition to becoming home to the San Francisco Film Commission, this location will be designed to host events, screenings, and performances year-round.
