The most recent connection between Irvine parks and communities is Great Park Trails. The new 1.5 mile walking, biking and multiuse trails travel through a broad swath of native landscape in the 40-acre Bosque area.  Three tunnels allowing cyclists and pedestrians to cross under major streets between Irvine Blvd. and the Orange County Great Park.

There is even a kids playground tucked amid the beauty of the landscape, which reflects the native habitat of the birds and animals that live in and around Great Park Neighborhoods.

Great Park Trails add to the more than 60 miles of off-street bikeways and 300 miles of on-street bike lanes in Irvine.

Trails wander throughout the city, allowing locals to leave their cars behind as they cycle and walk around. This is especially true in Great Park Neighborhoods, where residents have access to seven neighborhood parks connected by miles of biking and walking trails. To date, FivePoint's joint venture has gifted the now-iconic orange bicycle to every household in each of the neighborhoods.
