It’s official: Portola High School in Irvine is a school where champions are made.

In November 2019, the Girls Tennis team became the first team in the school’s four-year history to become California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) champions in their division.

The Bulldogs’ impressive 20-5 season record in league play helped the team earn a wildcard berth in the CIF D3 Playoffs. The team would go on to beat every opponent in the D3 Playoffs to become CIF-SS D3 Champions. Notably, freshman Isabella Chhiv won CIF's Individual League Title by defeating every top player in the Pacific Coast League.

Portola High School is located in Great Park Neighborhoods and is the newest high school within the nationally-renowned Irvine Unified School District. It was built as part of a public-private partnership between FivePoint’s joint venture, The Irvine Company, and Irvine Unified School District.
